Verizon has just launched its version of the Samsung Galaxy J7 and LG K20. Named the J7 V and K20 V, respectively, both smartphones feature attractive price tags and decent specs, as well as the latest version of Android.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 V is the more expensive of the pair. It costs $240 upfront, or as low as $10 a month for 24 months. The Samsung Galaxy J7 V's specs are as follows:

- Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 platform (octa-core CPU, 2.2 GHz)
- 2 GB RAM
- 16 GB ROM (storage expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card)

- 5-megapixel front camera
- 3300 mAh LI-ION battery (up to 40 hours of usage time)
For those looking to save a bit more money, the LG K20 V is the alternative choice. It costs $168 upfront, or as low as $7 a month for 24 months. Its specs are as follows:
- 5.3-inch 1280x720 IPS display with fingerprint sensor
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 platform (quad-core CPU, 1.4 GHz)
- 2 GB RAM
- 16 GB ROM (storage expandable up to a theoretical 2 TB via microSD)
- 13-megapixel rear camera
- 5-megapixel front camera
- Removable 2800 mAh battery (up to 32 hours of usage time)
As mentioned, both smartphones come with the latest Android version, 7.0.1 (Android 7.1 is currently available only for Pixel and Nexus devices). The Samsung Galaxy J7 V comes in a light gray rear finish with a darker gray face, while the LG K20 V sports an all-black finish with caramel-gold rails accenting its edges.
