The latest sighting of the upcoming Galaxy J5 reveals an Exynos 7870 processor, next to 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and Android 7.0 Nougat. The model listed on GFXBench is SM-J530.
Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has surfaced in many rumors during the last few months, and now we see it surface on GFXBench. The entry in the benchmark database reveals most of its specs, so we should see it on FCC next before it finally surfaces on the market.
The model that arrived on GFXBench is SM-J530, and its specs include a Samsung-made Exynos 7870 Octa processor with ARM Mali-T830 graphics, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 12 MP cameras on both front and back. The display is listed as having 4.8 inches in size, but this is probably an error. Its resolution is not impressive at all - just 1,280X720 pixels. The handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat.
These being said, remains to see how long does it take for Samsung to bring the new Galaxy J5 to the market. For now, all the above still needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but stay tuned for the official announcement.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
