Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) and J7 (2017) coming to the US under different names
Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) have been around for a while, and now we finally hear about their arrival to the United States. While the local launch dates are not official yet, the brand names to be used have been recently leaked by well-known tipster Evan Blass.
According to VentureBeat's editor who was once known as evleaks, these are the carriers who will bring the aforementioned handsets to the US and the names they will use for them:
- Virgin, Boost, Sprint - Galaxy J7 Perx
- Verizon Wireless - Galaxy J7
- TracFone - J7 Sky Pro
- AT&T, Cricket Wireless - Galaxy Express Prime 2 (the Galaxy J3 (2017))
The specs of the Galaxy J3 (2017) are expected to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 2 MP/5 MP cameras, as well as a 5-inch 720p display. The more powerful Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to feature a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor and 2 GB RAM, as well as a 13 MP main camera.
