Lenovo has confirmed that it will launch its next flagship phone, the Lenovo Z6 Pro, on April 23 in China. The device will be powered by Qualcomm's premium SoC, the Snapdragon 855, and could boast of a slew of impressive features.
Going by the teaser images, the Z6 Pro could eschew both the notch and bezel, as it appears to have none of the two. The teaser image is particularly dark, though, which could be intentional in an attempt to mislead the public. In any case, we still remember the fiasco with the Lenovo Z5 last year, and we're not getting our hopes up again.
At the back of the Z6 Pro is what appears to be a single camera sensor. There are references to 125-degrees, so it could be a wide-angle lens. The company is also rolling with a "Hyper" tagline. That, coupled with the apparent size of the sensor leads us to think there may be some weight to the rumors that the Z6 Pro will feature a huge 100 MP sensor. Could it use pixel-binning to achieve ultra-detailed 6.25 MP shots?
The launch is less than two weeks away anyway, so we won't have to wait for much longer.
