T-Mobile offers free tablet with data plan purchase
T-Mobile has decided to bring back the "Tablet on Us" deal in celebration of Valentine's Day but, unfortunately, only for a limited amount of time. The tablet offered (almost) for free comes tied to a postpaid data plan (1 GB or more) and is the carrier's most popular slate - the low-end Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7.
According to the official press release, "Anyone can get the Un-carrier’s most popular 7” Android-powered™ tablet, the ALCATEL ONETOUCH Pop 7, for $0 with any qualifying data plan. That's right: $0 down, $0 payments; pay only the sales tax." This 7-inch tablet has a dual-core 1.3 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage (microSD support up to 32 GB also present), 1,024X600 pixels resolution, a 3240 mAh battery, and comes loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
This offer runs between February 12 and February 16 at participating T-Mobile stores across the US. As it usually happens with such deals, a credit check and EIP agreement are required.
