Supraland is a puzzle-heavy sandbox game that takes place in a literal playground sandbox. The unique design and perspective, challenging puzzles, and quirky hints system make Supraland an endearing game despite its relatively short story. Supraland is described by its developers as "a mix between Portal, Zelda, and Metroid," and while it nails the aspects of its various influences with varying levels of success, it's difficult to argue that Supraland isn't fun and unique.
Supraland is on sale for US$7.99 on Steam until January 19.
2. Borderlands 3 - 85% off
Borderlands 3 takes the winning Borderlands format and adds some much-needed updates to make it competitive with its contemporaries. This means more of the same chaotic action with more guns, better loot, zanier characters, and a more polished progression system. The story this time around is also more grandiose, taking place in space rather than on Pandora. If you're up for an over-the-top looter shooter with an excellent variety of playable characters, Borderlands 3 should be high on your list.

3. Marvel's Midnight Suns - 33% off
Marvel's Midnight Suns was one of 2022's least-expected success stories. Midnight Suns is a tactical deck-builder that focusses on Marvel's supernatural Midnight Suns — basically The Avengers but with more magic. The story might not be the best around, and while combat is not as fast-paced as a first-person shooter or hack-and-slash game, the unique flare each character brings to encounters and the excellent animation are enough to get you immersed into the action.
Midnight Suns is a well-balanced tactical deck-builder with spectacular combat, challenging strategy elements, and excellent customisation mechanics that make it great for veteran Xcom players or total newcomers to the genre.

4. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands - 50% off
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is spinoff of the Borderlands franchise that sees players dropped into a Dungeons-and-Dragons-eque campaign dreamt up by Borderlands 2's Tiny Tina. The somewhat deranged NPC that loves to strap dynamite to her stuffed toys sends players off on a gun-toting, sword-swinging, magic-wielding adventure. If you played any of the Borderlands games and found yourself wanting more fantasy, better writing, and the occasional dragon, Wonderlands might be what you've been looking for.
Wonderlands features the same diverse loot game that previous Borderlands games excel at, but it switches things up yet again with its fantasy flare.
