Steam users have the chance to score a platformer game for free, but it will be available to claim for a limited time. The title that's under the spotlight is Billie's Wheelie, and it became available on the platform in October 2025, meaning that it hasn't been that long since the developer released it.
It will remain available to claims as a free game on Steam until January 10, 2026. However, it's worth noting that there is a limited number of copies available for this free-to-keep phase. That means it can transition back to a paid title before the said date if freebie stock runs out.
As for the game itself, it's developed and published by M4DOOM, and as described, it puts a heavy emphasis on reflexes. While it's a racing game, the platforming elements demand moves at the right time to get over the obstacles. Of course, it's just not about getting through obstacles, as players also need to compete against each other in beating time records and collecting objectives.
Speaking of which, up to 8 players can compete against each other in the obstacle-filled tracks. Another highlight of this current free game on Steam is that there's support for both co-op and PvP modes. Billie's Wheelie also supports controllers (8BitDo Ultimate 2C wireless curr. $25.49 on Amazon), making it accessible to most players.
However, some players have noted that the controls can feel unresponsive, which is a bad thing for a competitive title. The sound design is also not that great when compared to other platformer racing games. Even so, on Steam, it currently holds 11 player reviews, and 100% of them are positive.
