Steam is always getting new releases, and besides having AAA titles and top hits, the platform is also known for offering hundreds of free games. Through the first weeks of April 2025, a good number of $0 freebies were spotted, and X account @SteamGamesPC has spotted even more. Among the newly spotted ones are:
- Brews & Blood: Origin - categorized as a casual title, but it has elements of horror games. It launched on Steam as a free-to-play game on April 12.
- Pantry Raid - a cooking-themed free game with elements from dungeon-crawler titles, randomized levels, and character customization. This free-to-play Steam entry became available on April 11.
- Just the Boss Fights - described as a 2D platformer RPG but with a twist, which is that it only has boss fights without any of the story. This free game launched on Steam on April 11.
- Cynabre - a French action entry that puts players in a tactical, fast-paced environment with divergent technologies. This free game became on Steam on April 5.
- Let's Patiti! - described as a local and online multiplayer party game with support for up to 4 players. It launched on Steam as a free game on April 1 and currently has a "Mostly Positive" rating with over 200 player reviews.
- Misled Madness - a side-scroller platformer that makes players race to the finish line while avoiding hazards. This free game became available on Steam on March 31.
- Goofy Goober Simulator - classified as an indie and action game that puts players through hordes of enemies. It launched on Steam as a free-to-play game on April 1 and currently has a "Positive" rating with around 20 player reviews.
- Scrambler - described as a fast-paced roguelike entry with survival elements and endless waves of enemies. This free game became available on Steam on April 7.
- Jenny's Adventures - classified as an adventure title with a heavy emphasis on discovery and exploration. It launched on Steam as a free game on April 11.
