Steam has expanded its free game collection multiple times throughout the month of May 2025. While most of them were discovered by @SteamGamesPC, many of these new games got left out. Some of them have now been spotted.

The ever-growing free game collection of Steam has expanded again. Throughout May 2025, a handful of these new entries were spotted by @SteamGamesPC on X. However, quite a number of them were missed, and some of them have now been discovered. Here's more information about these newly spotted $0 games:

  • Guncaster - a free-to-play adventure game that puts players against waves of enemies as they explore "ever-changing" environments. It became available on Steam on May 23.
  • Catgirl - described as an RPG with a short story that's full of mini-games and "charming" original artworks. This free game on Steam became available on May 23, and it currently has a "Very Positive" player rating that's based on 283 reviews.
  • Tiny Sheriff - a 2D platformer where players have to use weapons as a means of transportation. It launched on Steam as a free game on May 22.
  • Kiwi's Adventure - listed as a casual-adventure free game with inspirations from Flappy Bird. This freebie became available on Steam on May 21.
  • Melt Abyss - said to be an action-adventure title with dual protagonists and a heavy emphasis on exploration. It became available on Steam as a free game on May 21.
  • Miscrits: World of Creatures - an indie entry that's said to have many similarities with Pokémon. This freebie currently has a "Very Positive" player rating that's based on 345 reviews, and it launched on May 25.
  • FickleFlame - said to be a story-driven platformer with an immersive plot that's about a candle trying to save its world. It became available on Steam on May 25.
  • Shatter Point - described as a fast and fun FPS with grappling and sliding mechanics. This free game launched on Steam on May 15, and it currently has a "Mostly Positive" player rating that's based on 12 reviews.
  • One's Own Exile - a short narrative that lets players experience the tale of Sybil. This freebie became available on May 16 and currently sports a "Positive" rating that's based on 42 player reviews.
  • The Honours Project - described as an autobiographical walking simulator that allows players to have a narrative dream-like experience. It launched on Steam on May 15 and currently has a "Positive" rating with 15 player reviews.
  • The Others - listed as a first-person multiplayer with survival elements and an eerie atmosphere. This freebie became available on May 14.
