Specification upgrade for the small form factor Corsair ONE PRO
Corsair released their Corsair One small form-factor PC back in March this year. There were three primary configurations which differed in CPU (Intel i7-7700 or i7-7700K), GPU (NVIDIA GTX 1070 or GTX 1080), and various SSD and HDD storage options. While these were certainly high-performance computers, they couldn't boast the fastest graphical or SSD speeds available.
To cater to those who want the fastest specifications, Corsair has refreshed the Corsair ONE PRO with three new configurations. These include up to 32 GB DDR4-2400 Corsair Vengeance RAM, custom GTX 1080 Ti, replacing the SATA SSD options with Corsair's own NVMe M.2 drives, and making the 2 TB HDD standard on the ONE PRO.
The original ONE PRO (i7-7700K, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1080) only received the NVMe upgrade and remains at US$2300. The new GTX 1080 Ti models come with a larger Corsair SF500 PSU and have an MSRP of US$2700 or US$2900 depending on whether you choose 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM. Because these use mostly standard off the shelf components you can theoretically replace most core parts, but only the RAM and SSD are easy to access. Corsair apparently plans to sell an upgrade kit for those wishing to turn their Corsair ONE into a ONE PRO.
