Sony Xperia Z4v coming to Verizon in mid-August

Although most details are official already, Sony did not announce the launch date of the Verizon Wireless-exclusive Xperia Z4v back in mid-June. Now they finally reveal the launch date, although no information on the price is available yet. Sony Xperia Z4v will hit the US via Verizon Wireless in almost a month - on August 13, to be more precise.

This handset has a strong set of specs and features, including a 5.2-inch WQHD Triluminous display with no less than 2,560X1,440 pixels, 5 MP front wide-angle camera and a 20 MP image snapper capable of 4K video capture on the back, WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, NFC. It uses a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, next to 3 GB RAM and 32 GB eMMC internal storage, as well as a microSD slot. The IP65/68-rated handset is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.
