In addition to the "Lavender" Xperia T4 Ultra, Sony seems to be preparing yet another smartphone called the E5706.

There are currently no official details on the design of the E5706, but leaked specifications reveal a large 5.8-inch display, 1080p resolution, and a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 SoC with 3 GB RAM. The rear and front cameras are expected to be 16 MP and 8 MP Sony sensors, respectively.

Current rumors suggest that the E5706 may be unveiled as the Xperia C5 Ultra with Android 5.0 Lollipop as its base software. Precise launch information, however, remains a mystery. The second new device - the Xperia T4 Ultra - will not only offer a FHD screen, but also 4G LTE and a 64-bit MediaTek processor.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
