Slim Ugreen 10,000mAh magnetic power bank launches with 45W fast charging and built-in cable

Ugreen has quietly launched a new magnetic power bank in North America and Europe. Called the MagFlow Air Ultra Slim Power Bank (model PB579), it appears to be a higher-end alternative to the Ugreen Magnetic Power Bank PB568 (curr: $69.99 on Amazon), which launched in May.

The PB579 supports Qi2.2 wireless charging at up to 25W on compatible phones, including the iPhone 17 series and iPhone 18 Pro (Max), Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and Google Pixel 11 series. The power bank also comes with a built-in USB-C cable that supports up to 45W for faster top-ups. It has a separate USB-C port as well, allowing users to charge three devices at once. By comparison, the older PB568 tops out at 15W wirelessly and 30W over USB-C.

In addition to faster charging, Ugreen has added battery safety features designed to reduce the risk of fires and explosions. According to the company, the power bank has passed rigorous safety tests, including nail-puncture tests, two-ton compression tests, and heat tests at 140°C.

The power bank has a 10,000mAh (39.2Wh) capacity, which should be enough for at least one full charge of an iPhone 17 Pro Max (Notebookcheck review). Ugreen has included four LEDs to indicate the remaining battery level. Despite that capacity, the PB579 measures just 13.9 mm thick and weighs 217 grams.
