Seiko's latest anime watch is a limited-edition chronograph inspired by a master gunslinger

Seiko has a knack for turning beloved anime characters into surprisingly cool watches, and its latest collaboration is no exception. The Japanese watchmaker has teamed up with PREMICO for a limited-edition Lupin the Third (Lupin III) chronograph dedicated to Daisuke Jigen, the series' effortlessly cool gunman and Lupin's trusted partner. The watch comes with more than a few nods to Daisuke’s signature style, including his favorite weapon and trademark fedora.

The watch features a stainless steel case and bracelet paired with a black/gunmetal gradient dial. Gold-tone hour markers are inspired by bullets, while the three subdials each tell a little piece of Jigen's story.

The 12 o'clock register features a bullet impact with cracks radiating outward, the 9 o'clock subdial recreates a revolver cylinder loaded with six rounds, and the 6 o'clock register carries the silhouette of his favorite gun. Look closer, and you'll spot his trademark hat tucked beneath the Seiko logo at 3 o'clock.

Introduced in Monkey Punch's manga in 1967, Lupin III follows the adventures of master thief Arsène Lupin III and his motley crew of accomplices. Jigen is the group's resident sharpshooter, a hard-boiled gunslinger whose legendary quick draw reportedly takes just 0.3 seconds.

The chronograph also gets in on the theme, with its seconds hand styled as Jigen's necktie, while his shirt inspires the light blue hand on the 9 o’clock revolver-cylinder subdial. Hands and indices are coated with Lumibrite for nighttime legibility.

The dial is encased in a stainless steel case measuring 39.8mm across and 12.8mm thick. The watch is powered by a quartz chronograph movement and comes with a Hardlex crystal and 10ATM water resistance. Finally, the caseback carries Jigen's name and an individual edition number.

Pricing & Availability

The Lupin III x Seiko Chronograph (Jigen Daisuke Model) is limited to 3,000 numbered pieces and is a Japan-only release. Priced at ¥65,780, the watch is available for preorder starting today from PREMICO and select Japanese retailers, with shipments expected to begin in late February 2027.

International buyers looking to get their hands on this limited edition timepiece aren't entirely out of luck, though. Retailers like Japan Select offer international shipping, with the watch currently available for pre-order for around $580.
