Deal | Sapphire's 25th anniversary giveaway packs an RX 9070 XT, 9800X3D and X870E motherboard

Sapphire Technology is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a hardware giveaway. One winner will receive a bundle with the company’s Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT PhantomLink Edition graphics card and matching X870EA PhantomLink Edition motherboard, alongside an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and a RIG gaming headset.

The Sapphire’s Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT OC PhantomLink Edition is an RDNA 4 graphics card with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory which can boost up to 3,060 MHz. The Sapphire X870EA PhantomLink Edition motherboard includes a GC-HPWR graphics power slot designed to work with compatible PhantomLink graphics cards. The rest of the specs include a 16+2+1-phase power design rated at 90 A per phase, Wi-Fi 7, PCIe 5.0 x16, and four M.2 slots. Two of those M.2 slots support PCIe 5.0 drives, while the other pair operates over PCIe 4.0. Memory support tops out at DDR5-8400 when overclocked.

AMD is contributing a Ryzen 7 9800X3D to the prize pool. The Zen 5 chip offers eight cores and 16 threads, a boost clock up to 5.2 GHz, and 96 MB of L3 cache thanks to AMD’s second-generation 3D V-Cache technology. Rounding out the package is a RIG R5 Spear Pro H5 headset supplied through Sapphire’s collaboration with Nacon, plus a Sapphire merchandise goodie bag. The headset uses 40 mm graphene-coated drivers and connects through a 3.5 mm jack.

Sapphire’s giveaway remains open until October 11, 2026, at 11:59 PM GMT+1. Entrants can complete up to 24 actions through Gleam, although Sapphire stresses that completing every entry is not mandatory. However, there is an additional verification requirement: participants must email contest@sapphiretech.com from the same address used for their Gleam entry and write at least 50 words about their favourite Sapphire product, past or present, presumably to dissuade mass enrollments via automated means. 

The promotion is available in most regions worldwide, though it excludes a long list of countries and territories. Sapphire says it will select the winner at random after the contest closes and give them two days to respond before conducting another draw.
