The Moto G5 has a new Sapphire Blue variant, but it is exclusive to British O2 customers.

If you live in the UK and are on the hunt for a good, inexpensive smartphone, O2 has you covered. The British carrier is selling an exclusive Sapphire Blue version of the Moto G5. It's now the third color available, along with Lunar Grey and Fine Gold.

Images of the new variant had been leaked recently, but it wasn't known exactly where or when it would be released. Its limited availability is likely a disappointment to prospective buyers outside Britain who were looking forward to the new finish.

For those in the UK who decide to pick one up, the Sapphire Blue Moto G5 has the same specs as the other variants. These include a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 430 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of storage. It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with HDR support, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The Moto G5 runs Android Nougat.

The new Moto G5 is available from O2 for £192, or approximately US$240. Besides full upfront purchasing, the carrier offers monthly and pay-as-you-go financing options.
