Samsung's upcoming Galaxy M series will debut in India at the end of January
At the end of 2017, Xiaomi managed to steal Samsung's crown and has dominated the Indian smartphone market ever since. Now, Samsung is ready to launch the new Galaxy M series as a new attempt to regain its lead. However, the recent introduction of the new Redmi Note 7 might turn it into an impossible task.
Samsung India's senior vice president, Asim Warsi, told Reuters that the Samsung Galaxy M10, M20, and M30 will be available for purchase at the end of the month. The Mobile Indian also mentions January 28 as the launch day for these handsets, revealing the rumored highlights of the first two aforementioned models:
It also seems that all Samsung Galaxy M handsets will hit the market loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo-based firmware.
A recent report also revealed a few facts about the specs of the upcoming Galaxy M30, which is supposed to feature a triple camera setup on the back, a 6.38-inch notched display, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
