Samsung’s Internet mobile browser finally lands on PCs

Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Internet browser for Windows, 13 years after its mobile debut. October 30 will see the release of the beta version, with availability to customers in the U.S.A. and Korea. A major rollout will be announced in the near future. Samsung Internet for PC is compatible with Windows 11 and Windows 10 version 1809 or later, as well as ARM-powered devices.  

Samsung Internet for PC offers many of the same features as the mobile version, including Smart anti-Tracking to block cookies and trackers and a Privacy dashboard that lets you manage interruptions and view how many trackers were blocked each day. Another key feature of the browser is its integration of the Galaxy AI via the Browsing Assist feature, which has the ability to summarize and translate web pages into multiple languages.

Naturally, it supports data syncing between Windows and Android, allowing users to access bookmarks, browsing history, tabs, and Samsung Pass login information across devices. With these features, Samsung Internet for PC is poised to improve user experience for Galaxy users who want a seamless browsing experience across their phones and computers, an experience many have been looking forward to for the last 13 years.
