The Samsung Galaxy Note 21's existence has been questioned on more than one occasion. However, the overwhelming consensus among the leaker community is that the Galaxy Note 21 is here to stay. With the Galaxy S21 slated for a mid-January release, Samsung should have started work on its H2 flagship right about now. That doesn't seem to be the case if a new leak is to be believed.
Renowned leaker Ice Universe says that there is no information about the Galaxy Note 21's development. One might argue that it is far too early to talk about the device, considering that the Galaxy S21 is yet to hit the shelves. A Tweet by another leaker Max Weinbach further corroborates this seemingly redundant piece of information. There appears to be no sign of the Galaxy Note 21 series in the list of flagship smartphones that Samsung has planned for 2021. Although Max Weinbach and Ice Universe have been fairly spot-on with their previous leaks, we should take this information with a healthy dose of scepticism.
The Galaxy Note 21's demise is hardly surprising, considering that the bridge between Galaxy S and Galaxy Note phones has been virtually non-existent in recent times. Recent Galaxy Note devices have been little more than marginally better Galaxy S flagships, and it is understandable as to why Samsung wants to get rid of them. Some analysts speculated that Samsung's upcoming line of foldables would eventually replace the Galaxy Note series of smartphones. That prophecy seems to be materializing earlier than we anticipated, and it'll be interesting to see what Samsung has in store for us in 2021.
