Samsung teased a large tablet during its Unpacked 2015 event that took place on August 13. Two weeks later, a few high-quality images appeared online, but the company did not release any technical details. Back then, the general opinion was that Galaxy View is a large Android-powered tablet that aims to challenge Apple's iPad Pro. Now, it looks like things might be different.
As the attached image shows, ten Samsung SM-W700 tablets arrived in India for testing. The description of these units is far from detailed, but (S.S-12) could have something to do with the display size, while W700 could unveil that this is a Windows tablet. There is also another piece of information that needs to be taken into account here, the price per unit - 30,383 INR, which converts to roughly $460 USD.
The older rumors about Samsung Galaxy View mention a 12-inch QHD or even 4K display, 4 GB of memory, as well as an Intel Core M processor. The slate will come with a stylus and will be 0.24 inches thick while weighing 1.3 pounds.
