Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra thrashes iPhone 17 Pro Max harder than ever in latest Geekbench 6 run

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is less than a week away from launch, which makes the multiple Geekbench 6 runs that have leaked recently less surprising. In the latest batch, it appears that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered S26 Ultra has achieved its highest scores thus far.
With a multi-core score of a whopping 11,738 and single-core score of 3,852, the Galaxy S26 Ultra manages to pull ahead of its arch rival, the Apple A19 Pro-powered iPhone 17 Pro Max by a whopping 19.36%. The single-core score, as can be expected, is almost identical to the scores posted by the A19 Pro.
S26 Ultra: Overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy is clearly flexing its muscles
It is also clear that the S26 Ultra's scores are higher than many of the other Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered devices, which is due to the utilization of the faster "for Galaxy" variant of the SoC which will be equipped with P-cores which achieve higher boost clocks. Compared to last year's Galaxy S25 Ultra, the improvements are equally impressive - up to 24% and 33% faster in single and multi core scores respectively.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is set to launch on the 25th of February alongside new Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds Pro, bringing heat to the iPhone 17 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro (currently $1,099 on Amazon). As the majority of reliable leakers have stated, the S26 Ultra is expected to be equipped with the aforementioned SoC, a new Privacy Display which will discourage peepers, up to a 5,200 mAh battery, and modest camera improvements.
