Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Leaker reports that Galaxy S24 Ultra successor could be one the lightest flagships around
While @OnLeaks continues to avoid showing what he expects the Galaxy S25 Ultra to look like, @UniverseIce appears to have no reservations about disclosing details about Samsung's next flagship smartphone. For context, the latter has shared plenty of information about the Galaxy S25 Ultra in the last few days. For example, @UniverseIce outlined dimensions for the Galaxy S24 Ultra successor over the weekend, before discussing the device's charging and camera capabilities.
To recap, @UniverseIce claimed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra could be one of the smallest Galaxy S Ultra smartphones to date, with dimensions of 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm. Additionally, the same leaker asserts that the device will weigh 217 g, a 6.86% and 16 g reduction from the Galaxy S24 Ultra (curr. $1,074.99 on Amazon). For reference, a weight of 217 g would also see the Galaxy S25 Ultra undercut not just the new iPhone 16 Pro Max, but also the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, the Vivo X100 Ultra and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Nonetheless, @UniverseIce still expects Samsung to equip its next Galaxy S Ultra smartphone with a 5,000 mAh battery. Please note that although this would see the Galaxy S25 Ultra match its contemporaries in this regard, it will do so while still finding space for an S Pen. With that being said, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to only be capable of recharging its battery at up to 45 W over a wired connection, compared to 80 W for the Vivo X100 Ultra and 90 W for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, among others.
