Samsung released the Galaxy Note 5 phablet back in August 2015, and they have been working on its successor ever since. According to multiple inside sources, the Galaxy Note 6 might be unveiled next to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge next week in Barcelona, during this year's Mobile World Congress.
A new leaked image uploaded on Weibo shows the specs of this upcoming device. According to it, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will pack a 5.8-inch display that uses an apparently new technology, dubbed Slim RGB AMOLED. Its resolution is 1,440X2,560 pixels, same as that of the Galaxy Note 5. The new Note phablet will also feature no less than 6 GB LPDDR4 RAM, next to 64 GB or 128 GB UFS 2.0 internal storage. The leak also reveals an S-Pen and a 12 MP camera with Super OIS.
Since the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge have been in the rumor mill for a while, it is unlikely to see the next-gen Note showing up next to them. However, Samsung should have many devices ready to be unveiled at CES, so stay tuned.
