Deal | Samsung Galaxy A series get more expensive in the US, but Amazon has amazing deals

It is no news that smartphones have become more expensive due to a hike in the cost of components such as RAM and storage. This increase in production cost not only affects the price of new products, but has also affected the prices of older devices as manufacturers have had to raise the prices of already announced devices. The latest manufacturer to announce a price increase is Samsung, and it has increased the prices of its current generation Galaxy A series smartphones sold in the US.
The affected phones are the Galaxy A17 5G, the Galaxy A27 5G, the Galaxy A37 5G, and Galaxy A57 5G. According to the info on the Samsung US website, the Galaxy A17 5G now retails for $269.99, a $20 increase from its previous price and its second price increase since its launch last year for $199.99.
Thankfully, you don't have to purchase it from Samsung as Amazon has the Galaxy A17 5G for $248.99, 8% off its new price. The deal applies to all three colors — Black, Blue, and Gray. This is the US version with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
The Galaxy A27 5G, on the other hand, now costs $379.99, $30 more than its launch price while the Galaxy A37 5G has gotten a $40 increase and now sells for $489.99. However, you are better off buying the Galaxy A37 on Amazon where it is on sale for $399.99 (US version) in Lavender and White. Amazon doesn't have the Galaxy A27, and considering Amazon's Galaxy A37 is only $20 more expensive, this deal is a no-brainer.
Last but not least is the Galaxy A57 5G which now sells for $599.99 for the 128GB version and $679.99 for the 256GB version. Once again, Amazon has got a pretty sweet deal on the Galaxy A57 as the international version with 256GB of storage is available for between $417 and $419.99 depending on the color. While it isn't sold by Amazon, the order ships from Amazon. It is also worth noting that there is no US manufacturer warranty, but the product listing says it works with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile and its MVNOs.
It is sad that phones are getting more expensive when they should be getting cheaper after they have been on market shelves for months. Thankfully, great deals like the ones above, make it possible for buyers to still get the phones they want.
