Rollme just launched the PowerX smartwatch for $39.99 featuring an 1,100 mAh battery and dual-light torch. It offers 5 ATM water resistance and 100-day standby time, available now with a promotional strap offer.

Rollme just announced the PowerX, a budget smartwatch that targets the entry-level segment at only $39.99. It carries specifications that seem difficult to reconcile with its low pricing. The watch comes with an unusually large battery with typical health tracking features and a dedicated dual-light torch system.

The 1,100 mAh battery is one of the biggest claims here - the company states that the watch provides over 100 days of standby time. For a watch of this size, that capacity is substantial, though the 8773EWE processor is a basic, low-power chip common in this category. Real-world usage with the Bluetooth 5.2 connection active will likely fall short of that century-mark.

The PowerX features a 53 mm case made from a combination of zinc alloy and plastic. While marketed as "military-grade," the documentation lacks any mention of official MIL-STD testing to support its shock-resistance claims. It holds a 5 ATM water resistance rating, so it should be good for surface swimming but not for high-pressure environments.

The device includes a unique dual-light torch with white and red LED sources. This system features adjustable brightness and a strobe mode for emergency situations, which is paired with an audible SOS alarm. Most budget watches use screen brightness for a flashlight, so a dedicated physical torch is somewhat functional if you're planning to wear it outdoors.

Rollme includes a 1.53-inch display with a 360 x 360 resolution. The HX3918 heart rate chip handles health metrics like blood oxygen and sleep tracking. It is currently available on the official Rollme store with a promotion that adds a stainless steel strap for the first 100 orders. The value of the PowerX depends on how well those features hold up in everyday use, which isn’t something the spec sheet alone can confirm.
