Redmi Turbo 6 Max could carry the biggest battery Xiaomi has ever put in a phone

The Redmi Turbo 6 Max will reportedly pack an 11,000mAh battery rated at 40.72Wh, according to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station. The latest Weibo post does not name the phone, but it describes a Dimensity-powered performance device with a 7-inch 2K display and an ultra-high refresh rate, matching earlier leaks for the Turbo 6 Max.
The figure firms up a claim the tipster made in October, when Digital Chat Station put the capacity above 10,000mAh without giving a number. An 11,000mAh cell would be a 22% jump over the 9,000mAh battery in the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. If the leak proves accurate, it would also be the largest battery fitted to a Xiaomi phone to date.
Digital Chat Station has also tipped the Turbo 6 Max to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s, the 3nm chip that powers the Turbo 5 Max. The processor pairs one Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.73GHz with three Cortex-X4 cores, four Cortex-A720 cores, and an Immortalis-G925 GPU.
A separate leak from the same tipster this week described the display as a flat 2K panel measuring about 7 inches, with an estimated 185Hz refresh rate. LIPO packaging would reportedly keep the bezels on all four sides at around 1mm, and the panel is said to cover the BT.2020 color gamut.
The Turbo 5 Max launched in China in January 2026 with a 6.83-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, 100W wired charging, a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, and an 8MP ultrawide. Earlier leaks pointed to a January launch in China, though more recent reports suggest the Turbo series could arrive before the end of 2026. Xiaomi has not confirmed the Redmi Turbo 6 Max or any of its specifications.
