The Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro may be released later this month, and there are still plenty of conflicting rumors about the devices. One of the latest rumors to appear is that at least one of the Redmi Note 10 series, the one that bears the model number M2007J17C, will pack a 108 MP sensor in its main camera setup.
The Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro are believed to be based on the recently released Xiaomi Mi 10T series, which makes sense when you look at the model numbers. The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite has the model number M2007J17G, with the “G” standing for “Global”. If the “C” in the model number above stands for China, then shoppers in that country will be getting a rebranded and reworked variant of the Mi 10T Lite.
A 108 MP sensor is a serious step up for Redmi, and it will bring the Redmi Note 10 series alongside luminaries such as the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and the Mi 10T Pro. With Redmi smartphones generally being much more affordable than their Xiaomi counterparts, it looks like fans of the brand could be in for a special treat with the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro.
