Realme has launched the Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom in India for INR 24,999 ($330) and 27,999 ($370), respectively. We can expect Realme to make it widely available in other regions in the coming months. Both phones will be available for purchase on June 30th on Flipkart and Realme's official website.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC powers the Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom. Although it is technically a 'previous generation' product, it is still a powerful chip that can convincingly outperform most modern-day hardware. Both phones come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD panel clocked at 120Hz with peak brightness of 480 nits. The Realme X3 comes in two flavors with 6GB and 8GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of internal storage. That can be bumped up to 12GB and 256GB on the Realme X3 SuperZoom. Additionally, both devices are powered by a 4,200mAh battery that supports charging at 30W. There's a side-mounted fingerprint charger, too, along with support for Dolby Atmos.
The primary differences between the Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom lie in their cameras. Their rear camera setups are mostly identical with a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor at the helm assisted by an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The Realme X3 SuperZoom's fourth sensor is an 8MP periscope lens with OIS that allows for 5X optical zoom. The Realme X3, on the other hand, gets a 12MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom. Although both phones get dual-selfie cameras, the Realme X3 SuperZoom comes with a 32+2MP configuration, while the Realme X3 has to settle with a 16+2MP setup.
