Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Edition launches with color-changing back and 512GB of storage

The Realme 15 Pro is now available to buy in a new limited edition color that is based on the HBO hit show, Game of Thrones. The Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Edition joins the three colors — Flowing Silver, Silk Purple, and Velvet Green — announced at launch.

The Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition comes in a special box that is based on the box that contained Daenerys' dragon eggs in the show. Included in the box is the phone, a phone stand designed like the Iron Throne, a SIM ejector tool shaped like the Hand of the King pin, a letter that becomes visible when light is shone underneath it, and postcards and stickers based on Game of Thrones.

The phone itself has a golden frame, a black leather back, a large camera island with gold accents, dragon feet, and House Targaryen's “Fire and Blood” house words. There's also House Targaryen's sigil and the Realme logo on the back of the phone wile the two large camera sensors have patterned gold rings alongside the house words of House Stark and House Lannister.

The Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition also has custom themes, wallpapers, camera filters, and AI features that are all inspired by the TV show. Apart from these cosmetic changes that reflect the show, the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition has a nice trick, albeit a familiar one. Apparently, it has a heat-sensitive back which changes from black to red when the phone heats up.

This isn't the first time Realme will launch a phone with a color-changing back. Last year it launched the Realme 14 Pro (curr. available on Amazon.de for €239) which has a variant with thermochromic pigments that change color when the temperature falls below 16°C. In the case of the Realme 14 Pro, the color of the phone changes from pearl white to vibrant blue.

The Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition has the same specs as the standard variants. However, while the other variants max out at 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones Limited Edition has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and is priced at ₹44,999 (~$507/€436). It is available to buy now directly from Realme.
