Deal | Razer Edge: Cloud gaming console drops down to $299 on Amazon
After its initial release in 2022, the Razer Edge slowly faded into obscurity after actual handheld gaming consoles such as the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally and MSI Claw started becoming mainstream. The cloud gaming handheld console retailed for $399 for the longest time, and now, it has received a $100 discount, effectively bringing its price down to $299 for the Wi-Fi-only variant. Unfortunately, its 5G version still costs $599 on Razer's website.
While the Razer Edge costs $100 more than a PlayStation Portal, it has many advantages over Sony's handheld, such as a vivid 6.8-inch AMOLED screen clocked at 144 Hz. Plus, it can stream games from Xbox, PlayStation and Steam via Remote Play and supports all major cloud gaming services. The latter won't matter much, given the lack of 5G connectivity, but you can still use the Razer Edge as an extension of your home PC/console.
Plus, the Razer Edge packs a Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 SoC, effectively allowing you to play any Android game at max settings. For connectivity, there's Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. Other specs include a 5,000 mAh battery, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. You can add up to 2 TB of storage via a microSD card.
