Powerful new Ultimea Skywave X100 wireless sound system launching soon

Ultimea has announced the Skywave X100, a wireless home theater system. Set to launch via a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, there are two versions of the product: the Skywave X100 Dual 9.2.6 and the Skywave X100 9.1.6.
The Ultimea Skywave X100 Dual 9.2.6 system includes a main sound bar with six upfiring channels, four surround sound speakers and two 10-inch subwoofers. The latter are said to deliver bass as low as 18Hz@10dB, and the total speaker output power is 2,000W. The model is marketed as tuned by THX, with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Plus, its CineMesh wireless technology is said to deliver less than 20 ms latency.
Connectivity options of the Skywave X100 Dual include HDMI for 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz, Bluetooth 5.4 and Auracast. Users can remotely manage the sound system via the brand’s app, with 10-band EQ control and 121 preset EQ modes to choose from. Ultimea’s Skywave X100 9.1.6 is similar to the Dual model. However, as its name suggests, it has a single 10-inch subwoofer, and thus a lower peak output power of 1,500W.
The Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the Ultimea Skywave X100 will launch on March 12th. Customers can currently pay a $9.90 deposit to secure the Dual 9.2.6 system (RRP $2,299) with an “insider exclusive price of $899. Similarly, the cheaper Skywave X100 9.1.6 (RRP $1,599) is offered to insiders for $699. For more information about the pre-ordering system, please refer to the dedicated Ultimea page.
