As always, this OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we'll begin a broader rollout in a few days.

Android Nougat version 7.1.1 has been made available for the OnePlus 3 and 3T this week. Google released 7.1.1 back in December, so it took roughly four months for OnePlus to prepare it for their devices. With many Android devices only just receiving Nougat 7.0, OnePlus is ahead of the curve with their release of 7.1.1. While not an entire version update, this new software brings a few notable improvements to OnePlus owners. Here's a list of the highlights:
- Android 7.1.1
- Security patch updated to March 2017
- Expanded screenshot capability
- Reduced motion blur in photos
- Video stability improvements
- Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity improvements
- General bug fixes
Don't worry if your OnePlus 3 or 3T hasn't received the update yet. OnePlus is providing the update via an incremental roll-out that reaches more devices every day. Most devices should receive the update by the end of this month. Note that if your device is running modified software, it will most likely have to be reverted to stock firmware to receive the update. For those who have received the update, OnePlus has a forum for bug reports and a Google form for UI/UX feedback. Be sure to let us know how the update is treating you in a comment below.
