OnePlus 3T: Launch date confirmed for November 15th

Only yesterday, Qualcomm preannounced a new phone from OnePlus and today we can confirm that this will happen on November 15th thanks to an official teaser on the OnePlus Twitter page. The short video posted by the OnePlus team today not only confirmed the Snapdragon 821-SOC which the new phone will be based upon, it also reveals two other details:

First of all, the processor will be running at the full 2.35 Ghz, contrary to some of the competition, that only clocks the Snapdragon 821 at 2,1 Ghz and yes, Google, we are looking at you! Second, the video revealed that the new phone, which most likely will be called the OnePlus 3T will be based upon Android 7 from the start, at least that is what the number 7 in the video is most likely hinting at.

Apart from those two details, we assume, that OnePlus will add a bigger better, 3,300 mAh most likely, and update the storage to 128 GB. We are pretty sure, that OnePlus will also change the rear camera and add a Sony IMX 398 sensor. This is the new camera sensor, Oppo recently introduced on the R9s. We will know more next week on November 15th.
