While the smartphone itself has yet to see an official reveal, its creators are already confirming various specifications for the device.
After revealing that the OnePlus 2 would indeed sport a Snapdragon 810 SoC, OnePlus has now confirmed that it will sport a 13 MP rear camera a USB Type-C port.
The new USB Type-C port is already in use on certain Apple MacBooks and Google's new Pixel Chromebook, but no other smartphones so far have shipped with this particular reversible port. Unlike existing Micro-USB 2.0 ports, the Type-C port offers both faster transfer rates and more power for faster recharging. Physically, the port will be similar to Apple's Lightning port.
The OnePlus 2 is expected to retail for about 322 Euros or $350 USD, which would make it notably more expensive than the lauded OnePlus One. Nevertheless, this would still make the OnePlus 2 much less expensive compared to other flagships like the Galaxy S6 or iPhone 6.
