Computex 2011 | Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M and GT 520MX announced

Teaser
Higher clock rates characterize the new graphic cards.

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M is a high-end graphics card for laptops and the direct successor to the successful GeForce GTX 460M. It is based on the new GF116 chip featuring all 192 shader cores and the full 192 Bit memory bus. Compared to the GTX 460M, the 560M offers 15% higher core clock rates. Due to the optimizations of the GF116 compared to the GF106 of the 460M, the power consumption stays in the same region. The GeForce GTX 560M should arrive soon in laptops by Asus, Alienware, Toshiba, MSI and Clevo.

Detailed information on the GPU can be found on the graphics card page of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M.

In addition to the 560M, Nvidia also launched the new Nvidia GeForce GT 520Mx to fill the gap between the GT 520M and the GT 525M. The 520Mx is based on the same GF119 core but features 22% higher core clock rates.

Detailed information on the GPU can be found on the graphics card page of the  Nvidia GeForce GT 520Mx.
