Nubia is gearing up to launch two new phones on July 23rd, and today they revealed more details about the Z60S Pro in the form of promotional posters. The poster shows the phone hanging off a backpack with a case around it, which is a pretty functional accessory (more on this later).
The Z60S Pro has a square form factor and comes in three colors: black, cyan, and white. On the right side, there are four function keys: a dedicated satellite communication button, volume controls, and a power button with a red accent. Its back features a circular camera module. The centerpiece of this module is a 35mm main camera with a Sony 9 series flagship sensor, flanked by a 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle macro sensor and an 80mm telephoto lens with optical image stabilization (OIS).
The Nubia device features Neovision Taishan AI Imaging 2.0 technology for likely better image processing, and a unique texture that is difficult to discern since the resolution of the promo image isn't really sharp enough. The phone is also built with special Dragon Rhino glass that is expected to offer increased drop and scratch resistance.
The Z60S Pro will also have satellite communication, as per the poster. Users can use that to connect and send messages even in remote areas without a cellular signal. Nubia includes a ballistic nylon satellite protective case that can further enhance signal strength.
While the rest of the official specs haven't been confirmed yet, a GeekBench listing that popped up yesterday suggests the Z60S Pro might be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
