Nubia Z18S leaked pics reveal dual-display, no notch
Dual-display devices and foldable phones seem to be the next big thing for the mobile market, but none of the major companies officially announced any such model. While Microsoft, Dell and Samsung are rumored to release foldable phones, each with their unique technologies that would revolutionize the way we interact with mobile devices, some Chinese phone makers are planning to release similar models ahead of the industry giants. Take for example Nubia, a former ZTE brand, which, according to the latest leaks, is almost ready to launch a dual-display flagship phone that will not leave a deep hole in your pocket.
Sure, this has nothing to do with foldable phones, but some may find the new Nubia Z18S appealing because it goes against the trend and does not feature a notch, so the main display has thinner bezels. Additionally, there is a smaller display on the back, under the camera setup, and the selfie cam was ditched altogether, since users can utilize the secondary display for selfie shots or “face time” conversations. Moreover, the secondary screen on the back can display important notifications plus all sorts of widgets, including clocks, weather info and news. The leaked images also showcase side-mounted fingerprint sensors.
No other specs were revealed, and the device will most likely launch in China initially, but there is a fair chance that Nubia could launch the handheld in other regions as well, including the US.
