Nubia V80 Max

Nubia V80 Max
The Nubia V80 Max positions itself as a durable, everyday smartphone with a large 6.9-inch 120 Hz IPS display, a 6000 mAh battery, and a Unisoc T7250 chipset paired with 8 GB RAM. Reviews note competent day-to-day performance and reliability, but criticize its value at full retail pricing versus stronger competitors.

Pros

+ Rugged durable build
+ Long 6000mAh battery
+ Smooth 120Hz display
+ NFC and microSD support
+ Decent everyday performance

Cons

- Weak performance for price
- Not for gaming demands
- 720p low pixel density
- Design not very premium
- Value depends on discounts

The Nubia V80 Max is presented as an everyday workhorse phone in the V80 series, emphasizing durability and reliability over flashy features. It includes a 6.9-inch IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate at 1640 x 720 resolution, powered by a Unisoc T7250 (T615-class) processor with 8 GB of RAM. Storage options span 128 GB to 256 GB and can be expanded via microSD, while connectivity includes USB-C with Power Delivery, a 3.5 mm jack, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual-SIM LTE. A 6000 mAh battery is a headline feature, and the camera setup lists a 50 MP main and 16 MP secondary camera. Reviews describe performance as adequate for students and office users, but note it lags competitors and feels overpriced at around PHP 9,999. The phone is considered a more compelling buy when heavily discounted, such as early-bird pricing around PHP 6,499.

Reviews for the Nubia V80 Max

Nubia V80 Max Review
Source: Yugatech English
The nubia V80 Max is a decent phone for those who just want an everyday workhorse. It’s not the best performing nor the best looking, but at least its rugged and durable design will help make the phone last a lot longer. This means you can tough it out with this phone, no problem. As for the price, we mentioned it retails for under PHP 10,000 . However, compared to what its competition offers in terms of performance, it’s hard to pick this phone over others. It retails at PHP 9,999 , for the same 8+128GB variant as our review unit, which is expensive considering the lackluster performance and our experience on this phone. Thankfully, those who are interested can get it for PHP 6,499 via the early bird promo. At that price, it sounds a lot more reasonable.
