Newest HP Pavilion 13 down to $555 USD with 11th gen Core i5, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB NVMe SSD
Though we weren't very optimistic about this year's Holiday shopping season what with the ongoing worldwide pandemic and all, there have been more than a handful of pretty good laptop deals over the past few weeks for both home users and gamers. This latest deal strikes an excellent balance for students who need a lightweight subnotebook that's not too heavy on the shoulders between classes.
The 2020 HP Pavilion 13 is down to $555.99 USD after applying the coupon code 'SMBHOL10' at checkout. Users must first select either the white or silver chassis color, Core i5-1135G7 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB NVMe SSD, and the Intel AX201 wireless in order for the code to work.
While the Pavilion series is home to HP's entry-level laptops, this 13.3-inch 2020 model is significantly better than previous generation models. Many features from the pricier Envy and Spectre series have made their way down to the budget Pavilion series like the narrow bezels and sleek chassis design for a classier look and feel. We're currently knee deep in our review of the 2020 Pavilion 13 and first impressions have been strong especially for the sale price.
Drawbacks to the deal include the lack of Thunderbolt support, webcam shutter, or IR camera for Windows Hello. The bottom panel is also relatively difficult to remove meaning storage won't be easy to upgrade. Fortunately, these don't detract very much from the portability or core performance of the actual laptop. Expect our full review on the 2020 HP Pavilion 13 in the coming days.
