New strategy RPG hits 1.0 release on Steam with "Very Positive" reviews, 25% launch discount in tow

Tenebris: Terra Incognita left early access on 14 September, nearly two years after it arrived there (and roughly a year later than its developers first intended). The turn-based tactical RPG costs $19.99 on Steam. There's a 25% introductory discount right now as well.
Phantasmica Studios is five people building the game in their spare time around day jobs, with no publisher, and has been at it since 2019. The game is basically " Darkest Dungeon" in space. The studio makes this comparison themselves; it names Darkest Dungeon, X-COM and Disciples as its main reference points. They also say it kept the high difficulty while trying to "make failure instructive rather than arbitrary". Misses and failed effect rolls stay the same.
The premise? The starship Solaris has downed on an uncharted planet and immediately overrun by insects that coordinate through chemical signals and strengthen one another as their numbers grow. The ship is also your base, where you buy equipment, wake recruits from cryo-sleep, treat the wounded and upgrade bays. Five crew members hand out side tasks.
Tenebris: Terra Incognita's Version 1.0 brings the roster to 23 heroes. All of them have their own talent trees; the studio counts them as 414 active and passive abilities before basics and perks. Progression starts from five basic classes, and you can go into 17 specializations. There are 17 bosses and 83 Steam achievements.
All-time reviews are at "Very Positive", 84% of 242, but the last 30 days are slightly not-as-favorable — "Mostly Positive" at 70%.
System requirements are very modest: minimum and recommended are identical, at a Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of RAM and a GTX 260. It is Windows-only, single-player, and localized into seven languages with subtitles but no voice acting.
