New official Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra renders leak in four colours
Much has already been written about the Galaxy S22 Ultra, not least by European retailers which prematurely listed the smartphone on their websites. Mysmartprice and @Ishanagarwal have leaked even more information about the upcoming flagship though, along with several official marketing renders.
As the image above shows, Samsung will release the Galaxy S22 Ultra in four colours, some of which have already leaked. Also, Agarwal reinforces that the device will launch with Gorilla Glass Victus+ that Ice Universe alleged earlier this month. Additionally, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature an Armor Aluminium Frame, the same marketing name that Samsung uses for the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Z Fold3.
Moreover, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be one of the first devices to launch with One UI 4.1, an updated version of Android 12. Currently, it is unclear how One UI 4.1 will differ from One UI 4.0, which is yet to reach all existing Samsung smartphones and tablets. Incidentally, the Galaxy S10 5G has started receiving One UI 4.0 in the US.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is tipped to arrive on February 8 alongside the rest of the Galaxy S22 series and the Galaxy Tab S8 series at a Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung has already unveiled the Exynos 2200 too, an 4 nm SoC that should arrive in Europe at the very least. By contrast, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variants should arrive in China and North America.
