New leak sheds light on the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT's price and tentative sale date

We found out recently that AMD is all set to announce its mid-range offering, the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT on March 3, 2021. As is the case with most GPU launches, one will have to wait a bit longer before trying to get their hands on one. YouTube user Moore's Law is Dead claims to have some insider information about when one can go about buying an AMD RX 6700 XT and its retail price.

Moore's Law is Dead's information about the AM Radeon RX 6700 XT's price is corroborated by another YouTuber RedGamingTech. Both of them suggest that the graphics card could be priced either US$479 or US$499- significantly higher than the recently-launched Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060's US$329 MSRP. However, the chances of buying either card at MSRP is somewhat low, given the current market situation.

Lastly, the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT is expected to hit shelves by the third week of March, according to Moore's law is dead. This sits in line with earlier reports, that prophesized a similar release date. A leak from earlier told us that there would be two variants of the graphics card; one with a TGP of 230W and the other with 189W. The former will likely remain exclusive to AIBs, while the latter will be sold exclusively via AMD's website.
