ENA: Dream BBQ is a free game that launched on Steam on March 27, 2025, and in under a month, it has received over 18 thousand player reviews. What's rather impressive is that 98% of those are positive.

Steam is always getting new free games, and while a good number of these releases are nothing out of the ordinary, there are some that are actually worth playing. It seems ENA: Dream BBQ is one of them. At least, that's what the player reviews are suggesting.

This free game on Steam launched on March 27, 2025, and in under a month, it got over 18 thousand player reviews. Interestingly, 98% of all these reviews are positive, which means around 18 thousand of the players who have tried it found ENA: Dream BBQ worth playing.

As for the game itself, ENA: Dream BBQ is described as an indie title and classified as an adventure game. It's the first entry of a planned series, which is likely why it's free on Steam. That is, the upcoming entries to the series may not launch as free-to-play games.

Of course, ENA: Dream BBQ does have a "Supporter Edition Upgrade" available for $9.99. As the name suggests, with this purchase, players will have the chance to support the developers and unlock special in-game items. Besides this free game being supposedly good, there's another reason why it's getting so much traction.

The publisher, Joel G, has over 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube, and one of the videos about ENA, the main character of the game, has around 4 million views. Getting back to the free game in the spotlight, the developer gave a good understanding of what to expect from it.

Per the description, players will get to explore new environments that are filled with hidden secrets and "oddities," meet several characters, and use "strange" tools for solving "unusual problems." Another notable highlight of the game is that it has the Steam Deck "Verified" compatibility, which means it should run well on most decently-equipped PCs (ROG NUC 760 with Nvidia RTX 4060 curr. $1,296.99 on Amazon).
