New Samsung PRO Plus microSD and SD memory cards land with faster transfer speeds
If a professional video editor or drone operator wants good transfer speeds and longevity from their memory cards without breaking the piggy bank, it's hard to go wrong with Samsung's Pro+ family of microSD and SD cards. Samsung just announced an upgrade to its PRO Plus line of memory cards, upping their read speeds to 180 MB/s and rounding the write speed up to 130 MB/s. Granted, there are faster memory cards out there, but they are also more expensive than what Samsung is offering.
The cards still have a V30 Video Speed Class rating, meaning that they can handle 8K definition videos, multiple video streams, 360-degree capture, VR content, and the like. The Video Speed Class 30 ensures a minimum write speed of 30MB/s for all those simultaneous videography loads.
