The rumor-mongers are at it again with more speculation on the upcoming third generation of Moto X smartphones. This time, there will supposedly be two models of different sizes in a manner similar to the current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The larger 5.7-inch model may be exclusive to Verizon for U.S. customers, while the smaller 5.2-inch model would sport a 2560 x 1440 resolution display and be available for all carriers.
Recent pictures from China supposedly reveal the chassis and internals of the upcoming Moto X 2015. The leaked images show a cutout of where the camera and aperture would be placed and what appears to be a fingerprint scanner adjacent to the Motorola logo.
Other internal specifications include the model name XT1542, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 SoC, 4 GB RAM, USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, Android 5.1.1, and 16 MP and 5 MP rear and front cameras.
