A Cuktech charging accessory has appeared in China: the 6 GaN Charger Ultra. In this market, the brand recently released the 6 mini, a display-less three-port charger delivering an up to 90W output.
Now, the Cuktech 6 GaN Charger Ultra has appeared in the database of the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC). The entry indicates that this unreleased accessory has achieved CCC (China Compulsory Certification) or 3C certification. This page also reveals some of the features of this product.
Cuktech’s 6 GaN Charger Ultra will enable users to charge up to three devices simultaneously. It has two USB-C ports, each offering an up to 100W output when used alone, and up to 33W USB-A power. When charging two devices via USB-C, the power is split either 67W:22W or 45W:22W. With all three ports in use, the first USB-C will offer either 67W or 45W, with the remaining two ports sharing a 15W output. Further specifications, including the design and size of the accessory, have yet to be revealed.
It is unclear when the Cuktech 6 GaN Charger Ultra will be released in China. Whether or when this product could reach other markets like the US is unclear; here, you can buy older accessories such as the Cuktech 65W USB-C Charger (curr. $19.99 at Amazon).
