The Netherlands will get the Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch tomorrow, but they will soon get a special edition as well. Luxury fashion brand BALR. is no stranger to Samsung, as they already sell signature cases for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ handsets, but nothing more.
This time, Samsung and the brand founded two years ago by professional football players Demy de Zeeuw, Eljero Elia and Gregory van der Wiel decided to team up and deliver an exclusive BALR. edition of the Gear S2. Unfortunately, this device will only be available for purchase in The Netherlands. Its hardware will be the same as that of the standard edition, but will feature a redesigned strap and a new, unique face.
Samsung and BALR. did not reveal anything about the pricing and availability of this luxury, limited edition Gear S2, but it will probably hit the market soon. We will get back to it as soon as that happens, so stay tuned.
Codrut Nistor - Senior Tech Writer - 5993 articles published on Notebookcheck since 2013
In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
