Summing up this review, if you’re specifically targeting a device under the INR 15,000 price range, the Motorola Moto G40 Fusion features a shortcoming in one area or another. With this phone, you get a bulky and unattractive design. However, its clean stock software is something Android users would love unless they want some extravagant skins on top of it like MIUI or ColorOS. Furthermore, you also get a long-lasting battery, a powerful processor, and a few other features that make it a worthy option to choose from. But, if you care about a good AMOLED panel, rather than a stock-ish Android experience, there are a bunch of other good options to spend your cash on.

So even though Motorola Nepal could’ve done a better job in terms of pricing, I think the Moto G45 is a solid pick under NPR 25,000. It’s lightweight, smooth to use (thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate), and its battery lasts all day. The G45’s cameras are also pretty nice, although I really wish Motorola had gone with an AMOLED display here. Moto G45 is a solid budget phone with a great design, good performance, nice cameras, and a smooth user experience thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate and stock Android. The only thing that kinda sucks about it is that you're not getting an AMOLED display and just 1+3 years of updates, but that's it.

There's a lot of competition in the budget 5G smartphone segment, and the Moto G45 5G is one of several phones that offers a decent experience for less than Rs. 12,000. It doesn't have any standout features, but the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset delivers performance that is on par with more expensive smartphones. The laggy camera software, subpar macro camera, and notification spam are three reasons to avoid purchasing the Moto G45 5G. It offers reliable battery backup, but it would have been nice to see faster charging on the handset. If you're not keen on the Moto G45 5G, other smartphones to consider in this price segment with comparable specifications include the iQOO Z9x (Review), Realme C65 5G, Realme Narzo N65 5G, Infinix Hot 50 5G, or the older Samsung Galaxy A14 5G.

The Moto G45 5G is an impressive phone, especially at the price point of Rs 9,999. The handset comes with one of the best chipsets in its price range and as a result, delivers solid performance. It also ships with capable cameras that outperform most other phones in this category. While the phone’s battery life is a bit disappointing and its display’s peak brightness could have been better, it is without a doubt, one of the most compelling phones you can currently buy in its price bracket.

The Motorola G45 stands out with a design that feels far more premium than its price suggests, making it one of the best-looking phones not only under ₹15K but also under ₹20K. It offers a clean software experience, smooth performance for everyday tasks, 5G support, and decent cameras for its price range. While it does have some drawbacks, such as low display brightness and slower storage speeds, these issues are minor and unlikely to be deal breakers for potential buyers. There’s never been a more opportune time to grab a budget 5G smartphone; with capable options available at under ₹10,000 from several smartphone OEMs in India.

Moto G45 5G is effectively available at a starting price of Rs 9,999. This is with bank offers. Without it, you can get the phone at a starting price of Rs 10,999. As for if it’s worth it, as a sum of its parts, the Moto G45 comes together as a solid device in the price segment. It looks great, it has a good display, it has largely lag-free performance and offers an over-a-day battery life.

For Rs 10,999, the Moto G45 5G is a decent pick if you can handle the inconsistent cameras, average display, and some bugs in software. As for the plus points, it has a unique and premium look, performs well overall, and offers good battery life.

73.33%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
