More camera quality comparisons between the OnePlus 2 and iPhone 6
Details on the OnePlus 2 have been slowly dripping out on an almost daily basis. The latest info involves the rear 13 MP camera on the upcoming smartphone and how it compares to the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6.
The comparison shots come directly from the OnePlus forums, so they are almost certainly more reliable than the comparison shots made just a week earlier from a fellow YouTuber. Unfortunately, it is not stated if the shots from the OnePlus 2 were taken with a prototype design or with a finalized retail model.
For what it's worth, the indoor comparison pictures show a jewelry ring, paper bill, and pen taken with a Galaxy S6 (SM-G9250, Android 5.0.2, G9250ZCU1AOE8) and OnePlus 2 (OnePlus2-user, Android 5.1.1, LMY47V), according to the EXIF files. The S6 photos were all taken at f/1.9 and low 40 to 100 ISO. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 2 photos were taken at f/2.0 and 237 to 621 ISO.
The night shots were taken with the iPhone 6 on iOS 8.4 and f/2.2 aperture with a 100 to 2000 ISO setting. The OnePlus 2 night shots were taken with ISO 521 to 5481. The exaggerated colors and grains of the iPhone 6 images are gone on the OnePlus 2 for a cleaner overall picture. All original files are available for comparison through our source links below.
