Microsoft drops Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.168 for Dev and Beta channel users
Microsoft has issued a new update for the Windows 11 Insider Preview Programme, Build 22000.168. While the new build does not contain as many changes as early Insider Previews did, Build 22000.168 offers some useful improvements over Build 22000.160.
Notably, Microsoft has added a Microsoft 365 Widget, an example of which we have embedded below. Currently, the widget will only work for enterprise uses logged in with their AAD account; Microsoft has not stated if the feature will reach all users eventually. Additionally, Build 22000.168 has added support for multiple languages in Chat with Microsoft Teams. You can find the full list of supported languages in Microsoft's latest Windows Insider Blog post.
As usual, a new Insider Preview Build means more fixes for Windows 11. Namely, Microsoft has addressed issues in Search that caused it to crash or would fail to launch apps. Unsurprisingly, Build 22000.168 also contains several bugs, such as the Taskbar flickering when switching input methods. Microsoft's lists these issues in the same Windows Insider Blog post.
